An opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to work with K-5 learners in an elementary setting that includes an Autism self-contained program. This contract role spans the second semester, from January 5th to May 28th, offering consistent hours and the chance to collaborate closely with a dedicated team of professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for diverse elementary students.
- Participate actively in evaluation meetings to contribute insights and recommendations.
- Deliver targeted student supports, including consultation and problem-solving interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service personnel to promote positive educational outcomes.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current School Psychologist certification/licensure.
- Experience supporting K-5 students, ideally including work with students in Autism self-contained programs.
- Strong assessment, consultation, and report writing skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
