Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid and active Missouri Department of Education (MO DOE) School Psychologist certification required
- Previous experience in K-12 settings and school-based evaluations preferred
- Familiarity with special education processes, child find, and individualized education program (IEP) assessments
- Ability to manage a caseload and complete comprehensive evaluations (average 32 cases per year)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration and consultation
- Completion of fingerprinting and district technology form (credentialing requirements prior to start)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct psycho-educational evaluations and participate in multidisciplinary assessment teams
- Support child find initiatives, identifying and addressing students’ individual needs within the school environment
- Maintain and organize assessment data, prepare reports, and contribute to eligibility meetings
- Consult with teachers, parents, and staff about effective interventions and strategies for academic/behavioral supports
- Navigate two school sites, working with students from kindergarten through high school
- Meet district deadlines and uphold privacy with all student information
