Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland certification as a School Psychologist is required
- Experience in school-based or adolescent-focused psychology strongly encouraged
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to develop and implement appropriate intervention strategies
- Committed to fostering a safe and inclusive educational atmosphere
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting assessments and providing data-informed recommendations for students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create effective support plans and IEPs
- Offering counseling and crisis intervention services when needed
- Participating in eligibility meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Consulting with educators and families to support overall student well-being and achievement
This onsite opportunity provides the satisfaction of hands-on involvement in a vibrant middle school setting, working Monday through Friday from 7:25am to 2:40pm. You’ll enjoy weekly pay at a competitive rate of $50-55 per hour, and comprehensive healthcare benefits provided throughout the assignment.
