Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid and current certification/licensure required for school psychology
- Previous experience working within a K-12 educational setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases with sensitivity and confidentiality
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for students
- Develop and support individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
- Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to identify student needs and recommend effective supports
- Provide short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and skill-building sessions as needed
- Participate in eligibility determination, re-evaluation, and progress monitoring meetings
- Promote positive behavior, mental health awareness, and inclusive practices within the school community
