Position Overview
We are seeking a School Psychologist to support students in a Bedford-area school setting. The School Psychologist will provide assessment, consultation, and intervention services while collaborating with educators, families, and special education teams to address students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct initial evaluations, reevaluations, and psychoeducational assessments
* Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive reports
* Participate in IEP meetings and assist with eligibility determinations
* Collaborate with teachers, administrators, counselors, and special education staff
* Provide counseling and social-emotional support as appropriate
* Assist with behavioral interventions and student support plans
* Support MTSS/RTI processes and intervention planning
* Consult with families regarding student needs and recommendations
* Maintain accurate student records and evaluation documentation
* Ensure evaluations and required paperwork are completed within established timelines
Qualifications
* Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
* Valid Indiana School Psychologist license or eligibility for Indiana licensure
* Previous school-based experience preferred
* Strong assessment and report-writing skills
* Knowledge of special education procedures and IEP processes
* Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
* Ability to effectively manage multiple student needs and caseload responsibilities
Work Environment
