Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with students across elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12) grade levels
- Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling abilities
- Proficient in conducting evaluations and interpreting results
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptability to shifting caseloads and changing priorities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments to evaluate student learning, behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs
- Develop and recommend individualized interventions or supports to facilitate student success
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to address academic or behavioral concerns
- Contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments and interventions
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling when needed
- Support positive behavioral interventions and mental health initiatives campus-wide
