Psychologist – Full-Time | Elementary School
Make a Difference in Students' Lives
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join an elementary school team on a full-time basis. This position offers the opportunity to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development while collaborating with educators, families, and school personnel in a positive learning environment. This position is onsite in Bellevue, NE.
Position Details
- Full-time, school-based position
- Elementary school caseload
- Competitive compensation
- Monday through Friday schedule following the school calendar
- Opportunity to work within a collaborative special education team
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to support eligibility determinations and educational planning
- Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive reports
- Participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective interventions and student support plans
- Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Support MTSS/RTI initiatives through data analysis and progress monitoring
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and assist with Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as needed
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling support when appropriate
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
Qualifications
- Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Active School Psychologist certification/licensure
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and report-writing skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
