Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Pennsylvania
- Proven experience conducting assessments, developing interventions, and offering counseling services for school-aged children
- Deep understanding of special education processes and laws (IEPs, 504 Plans, eligibility determination)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships with students, educators, and parents
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently while prioritizing student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and interpret data to support student development
- Develop individualized intervention strategies and contribute to the creation and monitoring of IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to provide consultation and implement targeted supports
- Offer crisis intervention and counseling services to students as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and help shape a positive, inclusive school climate
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
