Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active Virginia Psychologist License is required
- Experience or training as a School Psychologist, specifically in educational settings
- Strong assessment skills with the ability to develop individualized education recommendations
- Proficient in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and engaging families in student support
- Ability to provide both in-person and virtual psychological services
- Excellent communication, organization, and report writing abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations, assessments, and interpretations for students
- Develop and monitor educational and behavioral interventions
- Participate in eligibility and individualized education plan (IEP) meetings
- Serve as a resource for school staff, administrators, and families
- Support crisis intervention and response efforts
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to all regulatory standards
- Provide consultative and direct services both virtually and on-site as appropriate
