Title: School Psychologist – Full-Time School-Based Position
Near: Suffolk, VA

Overview: Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team for the 2026/2027 school year. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to support students in a collaborative school district that emphasizes teamwork and multidisciplinary support. Caseloads will be assigned based on district needs while taking candidate preferences into consideration whenever possible. Requirements:
Active State School Psychologist License required
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong evaluation, report writing, and collaboration skills
Ability to travel between 2–3 school sites as assigned
Onsite
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and cognitive assessments
Complete classroom observations and administer rating scales
Interpret eligibility criteria and guide school teams through the eligibility process
Participate in child study, re-evaluation, eligibility, manifestation, and termination meetings
Collaborate closely with Educational Diagnosticians, Social Workers, and related service providers
Interview Process:
(10-15) minute screening call with a Soliant Education Recruiter
(20-30) minute virtual interview directly with the school
Offer is typically within 24 hours of the virtual interview.

Full-Time
40 hours per week
