Bilingual Spanish School Psychologist – 2026–2027 School Year
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Bilingual Spanish School Psychologist to join our student support team for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time position will serve an elementary school in Berwyn, IL, supporting a Kindergarten through 5th grade caseload.
The ideal candidate will be an integral member of the school team, providing comprehensive psychological services to support students academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. This role includes conducting evaluations, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, supporting IEP processes, consulting with staff and families, and helping foster an inclusive learning environment. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively support the school's bilingual student population and families.
Position Details
Pay: Starting at $55+/hour (based on experience)
Location: Berwyn, IL
Schedule: Full-Time
Student Age Range: Kindergarten – 5th Grade
School Year: 2026–2027
Primary Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and complete comprehensive evaluation reports
Participate in IEP meetings and provide school psychological services
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
Conduct evaluations and communicate results in both English and Spanish as appropriate
Support multilingual learners and collaborate with bilingual education staff
Serve as an active member of:
Student Intervention Team
MTSS/Problem-Solving Team
Crisis Response Team
Provide consultation regarding behavioral, academic, and social-emotional interventions
Assist with data collection, progress monitoring, and intervention planning
Promote a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive school environment
Qualifications
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
Fluency in English and Spanish required
Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills
Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
