Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist
- Strong background in behavioral and counseling practices
- Proficient in conducting psychoeducational and behavioral assessments
- Experience developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Familiarity with MTSS frameworks and trauma-informed interventions
- Skilled at collaborating with teachers, families, and educational teams
- Comfort participating in IEP and Section 504 meetings
- Crisis response and safety planning experience is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and small-group counseling tailored to student needs
- Complete psychoeducational and functional behavioral assessments (FBAs)
- Collaborate in developing, implementing, and monitoring BIPs
- Support MTSS implementation and consult on trauma-informed practices
- Participate in IEP/504 meetings and interdisciplinary case discussions
- Lead crisis response efforts and help create transition plans for student reintegration
