School Psychologist | Boston, Massachusetts
Bring your expertise and passion for supporting student success to an engaging school psychologist position near Boston, MA! This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a real difference for high school students in an inclusive, supportive environment. There are multiple full-time or part-time openings available, with flexible scheduling Monday through Friday to fit your needs.
Your primary focus will be providing evaluation, consultation, and guidance for high school students, collaborating with educators and families to promote each student's social, emotional, and academic development. Three additional psychologists are needed to support a grammar school caseload, so you’ll be part of a collaborative team working together to deliver impactful services. Caseload size and specific assignments will be discussed during the interview process to ensure the best fit for your skills and interests.
Qualifications:
- Current school psychologist license in Massachusetts
- Experience or strong interest in high school student populations
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and translate findings into actionable support plans
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide individual and small-group counseling
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and outside agencies
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to support student well-being
