Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification and relevant state licensure
- Proven experience in psychoeducational assessments, behavioral intervention planning, and data-driven decision making
- Strong understanding of educational evaluation tools and psychology best practices
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with school teams and families
- Ability to create, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Experience with ELIS psych preferred
- Commitment to culturally responsive practices in supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments, observations, and consultations to inform instructional decisions
- Develop and recommend evidence-based interventions for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Consult with educators and parents regarding student progress, behavior, and learning needs
- Support crisis intervention and provide counseling services as appropriate
- Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with local and federal regulations
- Keep up-to-date with best practices and current trends in school psychology
