Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current license or eligibility to work as a School Psychologist
- Experience with high school caseloads preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and case management
- Ability to collaborate with multiple school psychologists and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfort with electronic documentation and IEP systems
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological evaluations, risk assessments, and direct counseling services
- Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development
- Assist in creating and updating IEPs, participating in eligibility and planning meetings
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Support crisis intervention efforts and prevention programming
- Serve as a resource and advocate for students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
