Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (or ability to obtain)
- Experience or interest in working with high school students
- Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments, evaluations, and individualized education plan (IEP) development
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work onsite; some hybrid flexibility may be available
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and interventions to high school students to address learning, behavioral, and emotional concerns
- Conduct assessments, develop strategies, and participate in eligibility and IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, families, and other Psychologists within the district to develop a comprehensive approach to student success
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with applicable laws and school policies
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
