Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience or strong interest in serving a high school caseload
- Working knowledge of behavioral assessment, intervention strategies, and special education eligibility
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, and families
- Capacity for collaboration within a multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable with technology for documentation and virtual consultation, if hybrid flexibility is needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct psychological services, including individual or group counseling
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, contributing expertise to develop individualized plans
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to inform and implement best practices for student achievement
- Maintain accurate records and data in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
