Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold a current CDE School Psychologist license
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a school setting
- Solid understanding of educational assessments, interventions, and counseling strategies for elementary-aged children
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations for students at Emerald Elementary and Pioneer Elementary
- Deliver direct support through individual and group counseling
- Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to develop effective interventions and supports
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Support a positive school culture by addressing behavioral and emotional challenges
- Maintain accurate case files and sensitive student records in compliance with district and state regulations
