Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, serving elementary school students in a dynamic and supportive setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to work collaboratively in an educational environment that encourages growth and progress for both students and professionals.
Your primary focus will be providing direct psychological support at two elementary schools, addressing diverse student needs, helping advance positive outcomes, and collaborating with educators and families.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and current CDE School Psychologist License (required)
- Demonstrated school-based experience in educational or child-centered settings
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in assessment, intervention, and consultation within a school framework
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments, interpret results, and develop recommendations for student support
- Provide individual and group counseling to students in need
- Assist in the development and implementation of IEPs and accommodations under IDEA and Section 504
- Offer crisis intervention and participate in student support teams
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to foster a positive learning environment
- Maintain documentation and reports in compliance with district and state requirements
- Serve as an advocate for student well-being and promote equity and inclusion
