Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid state School Psychologist certification and licensure
- Experience serving students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Comprehensive understanding of special education laws and processes
- Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct educational, psychological, and behavioral assessments for students across grade levels
- Consult with teachers and support staff to develop strategies that address student needs
- Collaborate with families to foster home-school connections and provide resources
- Contribute to IEP meetings and support the eligibility determination process
- Develop evidence-based intervention plans and monitor student progress
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
