Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or equivalent
- Valid state credential or licensure as required for School Psychologists
- Prior experience conducting psychological assessments in K-12 educational settings
- Strong understanding of child development, learning differences, and mental health support in schools
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff
- Familiarity with IEP processes, RTI/MTSS frameworks, and intervention planning
- Organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative psychological services for students
- Conduct assessments and interpret results to inform individualized education plans
- Work closely with special education teams to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Participate in eligibility meetings, student reviews, and ongoing support planning
- Help design preventive programs to address social-emotional and behavioral challenges
- Offer guidance and workshops for educators and families on student well-being
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation according to district and regulation standards
