Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist in Florida
- Familiarity with psychoeducational assessment tools and data-driven decision making
- Experience developing and implementing intervention strategies for diverse student populations
- Strong ability to consult, collaborate, and communicate with educators, students, and families
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines
- Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites during the workweek
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention, to students across four schools
- Conduct formal evaluations to identify educational and behavioral needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and support staff to develop strategies for student success
- Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP teams, and multidisciplinary planning sessions
- Provide consultative support and training to staff and families regarding learning and mental health concerns
- Maintain accurate records, case notes, and timely documentation in accordance with legal and professional standards
- Engage in proactive efforts to foster inclusive and supportive school climates
