School Psychologist - Broomfield, Colorado
Step into a dynamic, contract school psychologist opportunity in the Broomfield and Lafayette area, supporting two vibrant elementary school communities. This full-time, onsite role runs from August 4, 2026, to May 21, 2027, providing essential psychological services at Emerald Elementary and Pioneer Elementary. With one dedicated position available, your clinical skills will directly impact the well-being and educational experience of students in a supportive K-12 environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Psychologist License
- Demonstrated experience in school-based psychological services
- Strong understanding of evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Expertise in collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with special education processes and legal compliance
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students referred for evaluation
- Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective educational and behavioral plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insight and recommendations based on assessment data
- Support the development and implementation of positive behavioral interventions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Advocate for student needs while upholding ethical and legal standards of practice
