School Psychologist - Burnsville, Minnesota
Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. Dedicated to fostering student success, you'll serve as the primary consultant, guiding and enhancing a comprehensive psychoeducational program. This position offers a flexible, part-time contract (approximately 20 hours per week, .5 FTE) with consistent scheduling to ensure continuity for the students and staff—choose from a split 2-day/3-day weekly rotation or half days throughout the week.
Your expertise will be at the heart of planning, delivering, and evaluating assessments and targeted interventions across academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive domains. You'll collaborate closely with educators and families to promote the well-being and academic success of every student.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Proficiency in psychoeducational assessments and individualized intervention planning
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school community
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement targeted interventions addressing academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive needs
- Serve as a knowledgeable consultant for teachers, administrators, and parents
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
