Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid and current credentials as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in a school setting
- Strong skills in psychoeducational assessments, behavioral and academic interventions, and developing IEPs
- Excellent communication and collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to manage a full-time (40 hours/week) schedule split between two school campuses
- Adaptable, organized, and committed to supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for K-5 students and interpret results for educational planning
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of individualized plans
- Collaborate with educators and families to design effective behavioral and academic interventions
- Offer consultative support to teachers and staff regarding students’ social-emotional and learning needs
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed
- Maintain detailed, confidential records in compliance with district and state regulations
