Key qualifications and experience:
- Certified and licensed as a School Psychologist in North Carolina
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational environments
- Proficient in conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledgeable about developing, implementing, and monitoring educational and behavioral interventions
- Comfortable managing caseloads across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Ability to create supportive and inclusive environments for diverse learners
Primary responsibilities:
- Administer psychological and educational assessments for referred students
- Interpret test results and provide recommendations tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct and consultative services to support academic and emotional growth
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and adapt strategies as needed
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with regulations
- Contribute to a positive school climate through advocacy and expertise
