Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for certification in the state)
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Previous experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and evaluations in a school environment
- Strong knowledge of learning, behavioral, and emotional disability criteria
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, families, and students
- Ability to interpret data and create actionable recommendations
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret cognitive, academic, and emotional-behavioral assessments to inform educational planning
- Participate in eligibility meetings, contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and assist with Section 504 evaluations as needed
- Consult with teachers, parents, and support personnel to implement evidence-based interventions
- Support crisis response and behavioral planning efforts within the school community
- Ensure timely, accurate documentation and compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
