What we’re seeking:
- Current certification as a School Psychologist
- Valid North Carolina licensure (required)
- Experience working with elementary, middle, and/or high school populations
- Familiarity with a range of psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Capacity to manage a diverse K-12 caseload
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students referred through the special education process
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies supporting student success
- Interpret assessment data and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed within the school environment
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and deliver recommendations grounded in evidence-based practice
