Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required
- Strong background in assessment, counseling, and behavioral intervention planning
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Previous experience in school-based settings is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to inform eligibility and intervention decisions
- Provide counseling and behavioral support to students individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans
- Offer crisis intervention and consultative services as needed
- Support multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and promote positive school climates
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation for all assessments and services delivered
