School Psychologist – School-Based | Chesapeake, VA 23328
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time school-based opportunity in the Chesapeake/Virginia Beach area for the 2026–2027 school year. This role offers the chance to support students in a flexible and collaborative environment with a mix of onsite services and potential virtual coordination depending on district needs.
Position Details:
Full-Time (35 hours per week)
Monday–Friday schedule
2026–2027 School Year
Start Date: August 31, 2026
End Date: June 15, 2027
Onsite role with potential flexibility
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
Participate in IEP meetings and eligibility determinations
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
Support student intervention planning and educational programming
Provide consultation services to staff and families
Maintain compliance with Virginia DOE and district requirements
Qualifications:
Active Virginia DOE Licensure required
Active School Psychologist license required
Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to work in both onsite and flexible service delivery models preferred
