Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or equivalent state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and social-emotional assessments
- Strong skills in test administration, report writing, and interpreting assessment results
- Ability to lead and facilitate evaluation meetings effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Excellent communication skills to engage with students, staff, and parents
- Experience or comfort working with elementary-age children (grades 1-5) preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive initial and re-evaluations for students, utilizing a variety of assessment tools
- Write clear, accurate psychoeducational evaluation reports in a timely manner
- Lead and facilitate meetings related to evaluations, collaborating with staff and families to support student success
- Contribute insights and recommendations for academic, behavioral, and emotional supports
- Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to ensure appropriate interventions are implemented
- Maintain organized records and adhere to compliance timelines
