Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology
- Valid Illinois PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement (active license required)
- Minimum of two years’ experience working in school settings

Primary Responsibilities:
- Prevent, assess, and support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs to ensure access to learning and developmentally appropriate relationships.
- Serve as an integral member of SPED, 504, and MTSS teams—screening, evaluating, and implementing individual support plans while ensuring compliance with educational requirements and timelines.
- Provide expert consultation on MTSS systems, lead interventions, and oversee progress monitoring for Tier 3 students.
- Prepare and present timely, accurate special education documents; actively participate in IEP meetings, eligibility reviews, and check-ins.
- Reach out to external agencies (with proper consent) to gather needed data for comprehensive student support.
- Maintain up-to-date records, confidentiality, and required documentation of all services, collaboration, and progress monitoring.
- Stay informed on best practices, regularly engage in professional development, and share knowledge with school staff and psychology colleagues.
- Foster clear communication with families and team members, acting as a key resource for child development and learning differences.
This position spans two Chicago campuses, covers a 37.5-hour workweek, and provides a dynamic, community-centered environment where your expertise will truly matter.
