Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or Educational Psychology
- Active and valid State of Illinois PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement
- At least 2 years of prior school-based experience as a School Psychologist
- Past record of supporting each child’s overall success and living up to stated Core Values
Responsibilities:
- Prevent, assess, and address academic and social-emotional needs impacting student learning
- Serve on school-based teams (SPED, 504, MTSS) to identify and evaluate needs, planning for individualized student support
- Ensure compliance with all special education, 504, MTSS requirements and timelines
- Consult and lead Tier 3 intervention progress monitoring, and act as an expert resource in related meetings and evaluations
- Maintain thorough documentation, confidentiality, and appropriate communication with families and stakeholders
- Remain current on best practices and participate actively in professional development, school, and network meetings
