Your primary responsibilities will include conducting psychological evaluations—both re-evaluations and initial assessments—to support student success and inform educational planning. As the psychologist, you will guide the evaluation process: administering assessments, interpreting results, writing comprehensive reports, and leading meetings to share recommendations with educators and families.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and current certification/licensure as a school psychologist
- Experience working within schools, particularly at the elementary level
- Strong background in conducting diagnostic and educational assessments
- Skilled in report writing and communicating results to both professionals and families
- Collaborative approach to working with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Familiarity with special education laws and requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide initial and re-evaluations for students grades 1-5
- Complete all testing and assessment procedures in line with best practices
- Develop detailed, actionable reports and lead evaluation meetings
- Offer insights and strategies to assist in educational planning for individual students
- Communicate findings clearly to staff and parents, supporting informed decision-making
