Take on a fulfilling contract role supporting students as a part-time school psychologist in a Pre K–8 setting. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic school environment, focusing on a manageable caseload of approximately 30 students. You'll work in person from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., providing vital psychological services and collaborating with staff and families across grade levels. The assignment spans the academic year, from August 19 to June 3.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a valid School Psychologist credential or appropriate state licensure
- Proven experience working with elementary and middle school students
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop interventions, and participate in IEP processes
- Skilled in providing individual and group counseling services
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with teachers, administrators, and families
- Prior experience with diverse populations and varying needs is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete comprehensive evaluations for a caseload of up to 30 students, Pre K–8th grade
- Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise on student needs and interventions
- Provide individual and small group counseling as needed
- Collaborate closely with educators and families to support positive academic and emotional outcomes
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and contribute to a team-focused environment
- Utilize data-driven strategies to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly
