Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist in a vibrant educational setting near Cleveland, OH, for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role will have you making an impact from August 24, 2026, through June 7, 2027, working 37.5 hours per week with a focused caseload of around 40-50 students. You’ll work in a single building, allowing you to develop meaningful relationships and continuity with students and staff as you support their academic and emotional well-being.
Required Qualifications or Experience:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
- Exceptional knowledge of IEP processes, psychoeducational evaluations, and crisis intervention strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively in a dynamic environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for educational programming
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide targeted interventions and support for students’ academic, social, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop strategies promoting student success
- Offer consultation and training to teachers and families on learning and behavioral concerns
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal requirements
