Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working within elementary, middle, and/or high school settings
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
- Familiarity with varied learning needs, behavioral health, and crisis response
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students across all grade levels to identify strengths and areas of need
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide direct counseling services for students, supporting social-emotional development and academic success
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote effective interventions and student-centered solutions
- Participate in crisis intervention, threat assessments, and school safety initiatives as needed
- Uphold confidentiality and ensure compliance with all ethical and legal requirements
