Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Prior work in a school environment is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths, needs, and eligibility for special education services
- Provide direct counseling and support to students
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult with staff on behavioral and academic interventions
- Assist in crisis response and help foster a safe, supportive school climate
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with applicable laws and policies
