Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Active state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Experience administering psychological and educational assessments
- Strong advocacy skills for students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
- Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI)
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Effective communication skills for collaboration and report-writing
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to support educational planning
- Consult with teachers and staff to develop effective interventions and support strategies
- Provide direct counseling to students individually or in groups as needed
- Collaborate on IEP and 504 Plan meetings, ensuring compliance and student-centered recommendations
- Advise school teams on mental wellness, crisis prevention, and behavioral interventions
- Support positive behavioral programs and social-emotional learning initiatives
