A dynamic opportunity awaits a skilled School Psychologist to provide essential mental health and educational assessment services to students during both the Extended School Year (ESY) and the regular academic year. Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current license as a school psychologist
- Proven experience in conducting psychoeducational and psychological assessments for Special Education eligibility and Gifted and Talented placement
- Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and participation in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate service logs and compliance records
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
- Willingness to work within the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE) system or learn its processes
- Background in providing individual or group counseling services in a school environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver counseling services to students during ESY in June 2026, on-site one day per week for about four hours
- Continue comprehensive psychological services for the 2026–2027 school year (August–June), providing support two to three days per week, approximately six hours per day
- Conduct thorough psychoeducational evaluations for both Special Education and Gifted and Talented determinations
- Complete and submit compliant documentation and service records in a timely manner
- Collaborate in IEP meetings, offering expertise in assessment interpretation, goal setting, and interventions
- Serve as a resource to the school community, contributing to proactive and responsive psychological support for students and staff
