Step into a dynamic role as an on-site School Psychologist providing vital support across elementary and middle school settings in the greater Fort Worth area. This full-time, contract position is ideal for professionals eager to work collaboratively with students, educators, and families to support student growth and success. As an itinerant professional, your expertise will be shared among five schools, with a focus on delivering comprehensive psychological services and evaluations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential granted by the Board of Examiners of Psychologists
- Previous experience working with elementary and middle school populations is highly valued
- Strong skills in conducting assessments related to Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairments (OHI), including ADHD
- Proficiency in providing direct services, Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), and developing/monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological evaluations, reporting, and recommendations for students across multiple schools
- Consult with teaching staff and families to design and implement support plans for students with AU, ED, and OHI
- Deliver direct services and interventions tailored to student needs
- Participate in eligibility meetings, Individualized Education Plan (IEP) teams, and contribute expertise to multi-disciplinary teams
- Travel between assigned campuses and manage a diverse caseload efficiently
