School Psychologist - Danbury, Connecticut

Your primary focus will be completing evaluations, helping to identify student needs, and collaborating with a supportive educational team.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in a middle or high school setting preferred
- Strong background in conducting evaluations and assessments
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage a caseload across multiple grade levels
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students, focusing primarily on assessment
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents regarding evaluation results and interventions
- Interpret data and collaborate on eligibility determination for special education services
- Create detailed written reports summarizing findings and recommendations
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and provide support during IEP meetings
- Travel between two school buildings as part of the regular work day, balancing responsibilities effectively
