Preferred Qualifications:
- Current or obtainable Michigan School Psychologist Certification (travel professionals welcome—must secure MI licensure prior to start)
- Experience working within a school setting is desirable
- Strong skills in assessment, student support, and intervention
- Excellent communicator, adept at engaging both colleagues and families
- Collaborative, flexible, and dedicated to whole-child well-being
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological assessments and services for students across 1–2 school buildings, as assigned
- Develop, implement, and support intervention strategies tailored to student needs
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to create comprehensive support plans
- Offer assistance in varied school-based responsibilities, extending beyond evaluation and testing
- Contribute actively to a team of dedicated school psychologists serving the district’s five buildings
Role Details:
- Contract position for the 2026–2027 school year (August 25, 2026 – June 11, 2027)
- Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Onsite presence required; in-person support only
- Two positions available within a collaborative, student-centered district
