What you bring:
- Master’s degree (or an equivalent qualification) in School Psychology
- Active approval as a School Psychologist by the Michigan Department of Education
- Strong background in special education assessment and psychological services for diverse student populations
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
- Attention to detail to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
What you’ll do:
- Conduct thorough special education evaluations for students from preschool age through high school
- Provide direct psychological services in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, speech and language pathologists, counselors, and other professionals to support students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional growth
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in line with state guidelines and district policies
- Engage families in the assessment process and articulate findings and recommendations
