Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or license
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments, develop interventions, and provide counseling
- Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Dedication to creating supportive and inclusive educational environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group assessments to evaluate student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective strategies and interventions
- Interpret evaluation results and assist in eligibility determinations
- Counsel students and participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for mental health and behavioral supports within the school community
