Qualifications & Preferences:
- Michigan School Psychologist Certification, or willingness to obtain licensure prior to starting
- Relevant experience working in a school environment preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and multi-disciplinary teamwork
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- A collaborative spirit and commitment to engaging with school communities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, consult on intervention planning, and interpret results for families and educators
- Participate in problem-solving teams and help design individualized plans for student support
- Promote mental health programs and preventative strategies throughout assigned school buildings
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and recommendations to support learning and personal growth
- Contribute beyond testing by assisting with additional duties as needed in the school setting
Role Details:
- Two openings available
- Contract spans the full 2026–2027 academic year (August 25, 2026 – June 11, 2027)
- Onsite presence required (no remote work)
- Typically assigned to 1-2 buildings across a K-12 environment, sharing responsibilities within a team of three psychologists
