Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Possession of Michigan School Psychologist Certification (or willingness to secure MI licensure quickly if relocating or traveling)
- Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Exceptional skills in assessment, intervention planning, and psychological services delivery
- Effective communicator who works well with diverse teams and student populations
- Passion for holistic student support and a collaborative approach
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and timely assessments in alignment with student support goals
- Design and implement intervention strategies working alongside general and special education staff
- Lead or participate in problem-solving meetings, crisis response, and behavior support teams
- Support positive school culture through preventative services, staff consultation, and family collaboration
- Serve 1–2 buildings, fostering relationships and consistency for the students you support
Role Details:
- Full-time (37.5 hours/week), school-year contract (8/25/26–6/11/27)
- Onsite presence required to best serve students and staff across assigned elementary, middle, or high school buildings
