Make a meaningful impact as a dedicated school psychologist working onsite for the 2026–2027 school year. You'll provide essential psychological services and collaborate with educators, students, and families to address academic, emotional, and behavioral needs. Key Qualifications:
- Michigan School Psychologist Certification, or willingness to swiftly obtain Michigan licensure before starting (travel professionals are welcomed)
- Master’s or higher in School Psychology or closely related field
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting assessments and developing intervention strategies
- Experience supporting schools in diverse, collaborative settings preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to promoting student well-being, mental health, and achievement
Role Responsibilities:
- Serve 1–2 assigned buildings within a district of five, supporting students across elementary and secondary levels
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments, synthesize data, and help inform eligibility and intervention planning
- Work collaboratively with special education staff and administrators to create and monitor student support plans
- Deliver consultation, crisis intervention, and mental health counseling as needed
- Contribute to positive school climate by supporting mental health initiatives and proactive supports
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to district and state standards
This contract position is full time (37.5 hours weekly), running from August 25, 2026 to June 11, 2027. You’ll engage in meaningful work beyond traditional testing, with opportunities to assist in building-wide mental health efforts.
