Qualifications:
- Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or closely related field
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, counseling, and behavior intervention plans in school settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility for special education services
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional growth
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and positive support strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide expertise on student supports
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with district and state regulations
