Seeking skilled School Psychologists for contract, on-site positions supporting students and educational teams near Dearborn, MI. Two full-time opportunities are currently available—please specify your preferred position in your application.
Position 1:
Located in Inkster, this role serves a specialized school for students with autism, ages 4-26. Hours are 7:55 AM–3:06 PM, with an immediate start through February 1, 2027. The caseload is manageable, with fewer than 40 assessments expected over the course of the year.
Position 2:
Based in Garden City, this position spans both an elementary school (grades 1-2) and a high school, all within a single campus (not itinerant). Hours are 8:20 AM–3:42 PM, with coverage needed ASAP through June 25, 2027. The primary responsibility is to provide support by managing an overload caseload for both age groups.
Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist licensure (Michigan)
- Experience in school settings and familiarity with IEP and assessment processes
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience with students with autism (for Position 1), and ability to work across age groups (for Position 2)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments
- Participate in eligibility meetings and IEP development
- Collaborate with educational teams, students, and families
- Support data collection, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state/federal guidelines
