Work fully onsite from now through late May 2027, engaging directly with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic and behavioral growth.
Two positions are available across the district’s evaluation teams: one focused on district-level cognitive assessments covering 4-6 schools, and the other dedicated to Child Find evaluations at North Star Elementary and other district locations. Bilingual professionals and those experienced in early childhood special education are particularly encouraged to apply.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Colorado Department of Education Special Service License with School Psychologist endorsement covering ages 0-21
- Experience in cognitive evaluations and student assessment (preferably across multiple schools)
- Skilled in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) applicants and Early Childhood Special Education teachers with Child Find experience are strongly considered
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Commitment to in-person work with flexibility for some travel among district schools
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and cognitive assessments as part of district evaluation teams
- Collaborate in the Child Find process, providing detailed evaluations and support for early intervention services
- Deliver evaluation reports, participate in meetings, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders
- Engage in team efforts to support diverse learners across elementary and early childhood settings
